Teen Runs Amuck Stabbing 20 in High School

Its 7:00 A.M. in the quiet bedroom community of Murrysville Pennsylvania. Many early bird students are just arriving at school, others have been there for a half an hour or so. Imagine that you are a student at that high school walking casually up a hallway. You sees a teen run past another student down the hall from you. As the boy runs past, the student shrieks in pain and bends over. The running boy holds a knife. Glints of red are streaked across the blade. He is now running towards you. .

This is must have been like to be at Franklin High in Murrysville PA this morning as a teen ran through the school stabbing people with a knife. As many as 20 people have been stabbed. At least four were transported to a hospital in critical condition. As emergency personnel descended upon the school, A large number of students were seen running away from the high school. Others were bent over in pain.

The boy with the knife, 16 year old Alex Hribal, is in custody. On its website, the school posted a message to parents that read, “A critical incident has occurred at the high school. All elementary schools are cancelled, the middle school and high school students are secure..” Whether or not he was a student at the school is not yet known. The motive for the stabbings is also unknown at this point. All that is known is that the there has been a severe disruption in the spiritual tranquility of a suburb of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, one that has changed the lives of 21 people and an entire community.
